To turn on JavaScript/Active Scripting:
Internet Explorer: In Internet Explorer pick Tools | Internet Options from the menu, click on the Security tab in the dialog box, click on the Custom Level button, and check Enable or Prompt for "Active scripting" under "Scripting" in the list of options. Click OK on both dialogs to close them.
Netscape: In Netscape pick Edit | Preferences from the menu, click on Advanced in the dialog box list, then check "Enable Javascript for Navigator". Click OK on the dialog to close it.
Opera: In Opera pick File | Preferences from the menu, click on Plugins in the dialog box list, then check "Enable JavaScript". Click OK on the dialog to close it.
Note that new versions of browsers may change the location of this setting slightly.
